Chaunsey and Greg chose the gorgeous Hazel Gap Barn for their big day. A barn venue had always been top of their list for their wedding venue and they fell in love with Hazel Gap Barn due to its natural surroundings and the fact that it looks picture perfect set on the outskirts of Sherwood Forrest in Nottinghamshire. The couple had tried to make as much of the wedding decor as possible including confetti cones, signs and the decorations.
I joined Chaunsey and her bridesmaids for prep in the morning at the Muthu Clumber Park Hotel where we had a lot of laughs and a few emotional tears. Meanwhile Greg was getting ready with his groomsmen in another part of the hotel having had a relaxing time in the spa first.
It was soon time for everyone to make their way to Hazel Gap Barn where the ceremony was to begin. I loved the little touch of writing a letter to each other on the morning of their wedding, a strong tradition in America which is where Chaunsey is from. Both shed a little tear as they read their letters.
At Hazel Gap Barn, Chaunsey and Greg were joined by their closest friends and family. After the ceremony the guest steamed out into the gorgeous courtyard to enjoy the summer sunshine, drank the Pimms and shower the happy couple in lots of confetti.
