What’s your love story, how did you meet?
We first met at YNot Festival in 2016, on the roller-skating rink, which Joe was very bad at! The group we were in wanted to go on the chair swing ride and as much as Joe wasn’t feeling up for it I forced him to sit next to me so I wasn’t alone. We came back from the festival and decided to go on a date a few weeks later at Bungalows and Bears!
How did you get engaged/proposal?
Joe planned a trip to Barcelona as his friend had never been so arranged a couples holiday as we went for our first ever holiday together, he booked the same hotel but oblivious me didn’t think any of it.
We headed out to sight see and he proposed in front of the Sagrada Familia – all I could say was “are you joking?!”
Why did you choose your venue?
Inox is so relaxed but modern, everything is made to fit us and what we want not the other way round as we found in some venues and we loved it from the beginning with the view over Sheffield! It is great that you get everything all on one floor with so much room and space for it all.
What’s the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?
Wooden/Gold/Green
Relaxed but party vibes from the get-go!
Is there anything special at your wedding that you’ve included and why?
Having grandparents/family involved as much as we can
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
Genuinely excited for all of it but I have to include the food!! Totally made it our own menu and got exactly what we like, nothing fancy and posh just what how we like it!
Korean Chicken Burger Sliders, BBQ Cauliflower Wings, Mac n Cheese, Onion Rings and Chips!
Any future advice for Brides/Grooms planning their day?
Don’t rush into anything, think about what you want from your day even down to the food, it all makes it more you.
