How It All Began: A Sixth Form Love Story

Some of the best love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Kayleigh and Cai, it all started in their sixth form common room at just 16 years old. Introduced through mutual friends, they quickly became inseparable. Their love only grew stronger through university and beyond — a journey that spanned nearly a decade.

“Cai almost didn’t go to sixth form,” Kayleigh recalls, “but something always felt like we were meant to meet.”

This long-lasting relationship built on friendship and love is what every romantic couple hopes for.


A Romantic Proposal at the Eiffel Tower

After 8 beautiful years together, Cai proposed in front of one of the most iconic landmarks in the world — the Eiffel Tower in Paris. A kind American tourist spotted the magical moment just as Cai dropped to one knee and captured it all on camera. It was a true romantic wedding proposal story straight out of a movie.


Choosing the Perfect Wedding Venue: Swancar Farm

Finding the perfect venue was no easy task for the couple. They wanted a space that felt like them — intimate, warm, and full of character. When they visited Swancar Farm in Nottinghamshire, they instantly knew it was the one.

“The ceremony room literally took our breath away. It felt like the whole day was already unfolding in front of us.”

This intimate wedding venue is known for its rustic charm, countryside elegance, and cosy, romantic atmosphere — ideal for a couple like Kayleigh and Cai.

Wedding Theme & Vibes: Rustic Meets Shire Charm

Kayleigh described their wedding theme as “Shire vibes, like something from The Hobbit” — warm, cosy, and intimate. Cai, with his typical humour, called it “expensive,” but there's no denying how perfectly it suited them.

With a rustic wedding atmosphere, it felt more like a relaxed house party with their closest loved ones — filled with natural tones, laughter, and joy. It was a true celebration of love and family.


Personal Touches & Special Moments

While the wedding followed a traditional structure, one special surprise stood out: a mother-child dance. Instead of only focusing on father-of-the-bride moments, Kayleigh and Cai wanted to celebrate their mums with a touching dance together. A beautiful tribute to the women who raised them.

Another unforgettable moment was seeing the Father of the Bride visit the bridal suite before the ceremony.
