We first met back in the 90s at York train station. I was visiting a friend, Mike came along to pick us up, and somehow we ended up talking all night (and, well… more than talking). Ten years later we finally made it official at Kenwood Hall in Sheffield, and nearly 25 years of marriage later we’re still laughing, still travelling, and still pinching ourselves at how it all began.

Sharon Trees Photography started about 10 years ago when I took my camera along to a friend’s wedding. I couldn’t help myself snapping away, and when they saw the photos they absolutely loved them. That’s when I realised this lifelong hobby of mine could be so much more – and now I get to capture all the love, joy and unforgettable moments for other couples too.

Mike is the candid king: catching the hugs, the laughter, the chaos, and the joy (and yes, he’s also a pro at veil fluffing — officially crowned “Best Tosser in Yorkshire”… veil only, of course!).
