What’s your love story, how did you meet?
We met back when we were 18 on a night out in town, I knew of Nicole through her cousin that I worked with. But what got us together was a tinder swipe 5 years later!
How did you get engaged/proposal?
I re-created our first three dates, then proposed at home with our song Hooked on a feeling, playing on spotify.
Why did you choose your venue?
Our good friends got married there and we fell in love with the idea of their wedding, the venue is perfect for what we are wanting.
What’s the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?
Quoted from Nicole: “Casual, classic family fun” so make of that what you will! Lol.
Is there anything special at your wedding that you’ve included?
We have a magician in attendance providing entertainment as well as a photo booth mirror, so people can take silly pictures of themselves with filters for the guest book.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
Nicole is looking forward to completing the Laithwaite family name as she’s bored of Smith and fancies a change.
Any future advice for Brides/Grooms planning their day?
Do it miles in advance, it creeps up quicker than you expect.

I’ve known Mike for years, working with him on various jobs/tasks for SYP. He’s a genuine, lovely bloke and when he mentioned that you were in the photography business, I said straight away that you’re the choice for us.
This was confirmed when we met you both in person, we knew straight away that you’d be giving us your best and making sure we get everything we want out of our big day!
