Think of your engagement photo session as a trial run for your wedding day photos.
Firstly, you or your partner may not be enthusiastic about having your photo taken. Yes, this happens and all too often but don't worry about it. I'll make you both relaxed in front of the camera with my chit chat and fun approach and I can pretty much guarantee you'll both be begging for more photos at the end! LOL!
Secondly, wear something comfy and complimentary to your partners outfit. I'll generally take you for a little walk around our chosen location and will get you cuddling and climbing. Yes, that's correct, climbing! It's been known for me to ask couples to scamble up rocks! Think smart casual and you'll not go wrong.
Chose a great location for your session. It could be somewhere meaningful to you both? Where you got engaged? Where you met? If you are stuck for ideas, then I can always make some great suggestions of my favourite places in and around Sheffield.
Also, think about time of the day. We’re human beings. We all seem to have our best hours of the day. Are you a morning person or an late afternoon person? If you're hungry or get hangry, it will possibly show on your photos. Be well rested, fed and watered.
